A highlight of any hike in the Durmitor is wildlife viewing. The chamois is a goat-like animal found at moderately high elevations throughout the Durmitor mountain.  They are agile climbers and if they sense a threat they can ascend 1000 meters in about 15 minutes.

Fauna of the Durmitor national park is home to 163 different bird species and a wide range of newts, frogs, and lizards. Larger fauna include wolves,  brown bears, chamois, eagles…

The Tour begins in Summit office  where you’ll meet your friendly guide, who’ll answer any questions that you might have about the day ahead.
The Tour start next day from Summit office or from your apartment at 05:00 in the morning and takes around an hour to reach the nature reserve location.

You’ll be picked up and dropped off at your accommodation, with all transport and guiding included, plus light refreshments throughout the day. All you need to bring is a tasty packed lunch and your sense of adventure…
