Via Ferrata represents a secured hiking trail that crosses inaccessible parts of mountain massifs with the help of cables and metal treadmills. Ferratas are suitable not only for professional alpinists but also for people with average physical fitness that are not engaged in active hiking and sports.
Ferrata starts at an altitude of 2000m and ends at 2198m. From the rock of Uvita Greda, a large number of peaks of Durmitor mountain massif can be seen, as well as Mount Vojnik, Skoči djevojka ... Also, there is a great possibility that we will see some of the wild life that enriches the National Park of Durmitor, most likely the wild goats which dominate the region.
Each participant is secured by Montagna Travel Montenegro with safety alpine equipment, and need only to bring their own sneakers.
It is located in the vicinity of the road crossing over the mountain pass Sedlo, 1907m. Ferrata length is around 400m, the height difference is 230m, and is graded as moderately difficult to difficult – B/C. There are two benches on the ferrata that offer an excellent view to Sedlo and Stozina. From the top of the ferrata, namely from the top of Uvita greda you can see the entire Durmitor... The adventure lasts for about 2 hours.
